One of the best days of the school year is Spring Sprints. This is the day that the entire Wayne Community Schools system and the community of Wayne come together to organize and support a “Special Olympics” type event for not only Wayne students but area schools. This event has grown over the past 10 years from 3 schools participating to 26 schools this year.
Don and Jan Zeiss have spent a lifetime in education and have supported Spring Sprints and Special Education for years. Jan, is known as “Grandma” to the students as she has been so willing to help in the Special Education classrooms. Don and Jan, donated $1000.00 to Spring Sprints and the Wayne Community Schools Foundation at this years Spring Sprints held May 5th. THANK YOU
